It's time for a game of "Who said that?"

Via Atrios

And it has become pretty general. Last Christmas most people had a hard time finding Christmas cards that indicated in any way that Christmas commemorated Someone's Birth. Easter they will have the same difficulty in finding Easter cards that contain any suggestion that Easter commemorates a certain event. There will be rabbits and eggs and spring flowers, but a hint of the Resurrection will be hard to find. Now, all this begins with the designers of the cards.

Give up? Henry Ford, back in 1921. Of course unlike O'Reilly, Ford probably blamed it on those damn Jews instead of the more ominous and less meaningful "secularists".

No matter how the world changes, idiots remain the only constant.

O'Reilly claimed "you don't see prominent conservatives cursing out Democratic members of Congress"

Yep, you never do.

Quote of the day

More here.

Oh, and I'm quite busy, taking and giving finals, grad apps due so soon, but I'm about halfway through that promised post comparing W to Napoleon III. Bear with me.

What August Said

I'm busy writing a paper for my combinatorics class that's due tomorrow, so I'll just add my name to the list and be done with it.
